Original limited-edition linocuts, carved and pressed one at a time. Village landmarks, the coast, and the odd curious creature.
Every print is drawn from somewhere real, a corner of the village, a harbour, a creature worth a second look.
Small hand-pulled editions. When they are gone, they are gone.

Ruby mixes her inks by hand, so lots of her designs can be pressed in whatever colour suits your room. Try it on the Spring Flowers print and watch it change before your eyes.

A relief printmaking method: I carve designs into linoleum blocks, roll them with ink, and hand-press each print. This gives every piece a unique, textured feel that I love.
A sun-powered photographic process that creates vivid blue prints using natural light and chemistry. I love using this technique to capture delicate botanicals and layered compositions that feel both organic and a little bit magical.
A cyanotype made the old way: real stems laid on light-sensitive paper and developed in the sun, so every one is unique. The little hearts are the seed heads. It is the piece Ruby is proudest of.

I've just finished college, where I studied art, and Doodies Designs is the little printmaking studio I'm building around it. I work in two techniques I love, lino printing and cyanotype, carving and hand-pressing every piece myself.
I'm drawn to the places near home, the village church, the cricket club, the pub on the corner, alongside the coast and the odd creature that catches my eye. Each print is a small, signed edition, so no two are quite the same.
And that is Frank, my studio assistant. He oversees the carving, sleeps soundly through the inking, and guards the stall (and the biscuit tin) at every market.
